Why is climbing prohibited?
The Bruchhauser Steine is home to rare mosses, lichens and endangered animals such as the eagle owl and peregrine falcon. Climbing is therefore prohibited in order to protect these sensitive habitats. However visitors are welcome to climb the Feldstein via the steps.
