... Mr Maluschke?

It was from this spot that Karl-Heinz Maluschke, a young and severely wounded war returnee at the time, carried out the first personal supervision of the Bruchhauser Steine. There was also a small stall with drinks and snacks. For almost 50 years he looked after countless visitors with a lot of heart and soul and a great interest in nature. He also made sure that concerned pigeon keepers did not kidnap young peregrine falcons. On 18 December 1997, Mr Maluschke passed away at the age of 74. We honour his memory and look back on his commitment with gratitude.
